IMPACT

The Participatory Action for Community Empowerment and Development (PACED CHAMP) project concluded in 2019. The next phase of the project, Integrated Mobilization of People for Active Community Transformation (IMPACT), will continue action toward leprosy and preventable disease control using the SHG/Cooperative model in three new districts: Rupandehi, Kapilbastu and Parasi.

IMPACT project will :

      • form 900 people affected by leprosy and other NTDs, disability and those who are marginalized into 36 SHGs
      • provide seed and skills transfer for income generation activities and group business
      • provide safeguarding, gender equality and disability awareness training
